The World of Today..
'Tis not unusual to be disowned in the world of today,
When thy habits refuse to join the fray,
A world where following the herd is the norm, and individuality accorded the status of a lowly worm,
Once friends turn foes, because of the prevailing mindset which dictates that, "I shall go wherever he/she goes",
As you are left in a stupefied state wondering what might have happened, thy friendship as you knew it has already reached a dead end,
Such is the sorry state of affairs of my existence, which leaves me with no choice but to mull over them by sitting gingerly on the fence..
