The Season of Snow and Frost
By Pratyush Parashar Das
The soft light of the evening signals renders the landscape dreamy,
With the sky a soft hue of pink, and the clouds creamy,
As the heat gives way to a definite coolness, all around Nature prepares for a long awaited nap, and what you can hear is stillness,
I hear the birds sing joyous songs of the delights of snow and fresh morning dew,
Ah all my worries begin to fade away, and my troubles seem few,
And so I wander about the meadow green, softly illuminated with a wintery sheen
