I have walked many miles, and seen many things,

Yet the transient nature of existence makes me wonder whether I've truly learned anything or not,

For though my experiences be varied, sometimes I fall prey to despondency, and consider my life to be arid,

But truly it is not so, for my life has shaped me to be who I am today, and grateful am I for that, yesterday and every day,

For the Divine has blessed me with gifts many, like strength in times unexpected, and wisdom that cannot be measured by the weight of a penny,

And so I wear a brave smile against the vicissitudes of fate, and continue to stand strong against all negativity and hate.
